We are in week 4 of The Bachelor, and the show never ceases to disappoint, adding five new girls in the mix cause why not?
There is something I can’t get over with this season, though; the constant mention of Matt and his ladies’ race. Every. Single. Episode. In the first episode, Matt mentioned how nervous he was to be the first black Bachelor; one of the girls told Matt she shaved her head because she was insecure about white women’s hair; a teacher talked about how hard it was to get her students through everything with George Floyd over the summer.
It feels forced and like the contestants were told to talk about these things. I just want to watch thirty women fight for one man’s heart without all the wokeness. Is that too much to ask?
