No Longer a ‘Clump of Cells’ — Children in Utero Know They are Transgender, Psychologist for Boston Children’s Hospital Claims
Boston Children’s Hospital recently opened the nation’s first pediatrics center for transgender patients and was the recipient of significant public backlash, after a series of videos from hospital staff was uncovered.
In one video, Kerry McGregor, a psychologist at the hospital claims that a “good portion of children do know as early as from the womb” that they are transgender. “Kids know very early.”
Odd, because the left has told us for years that a baby in the womb is simply a ‘clump of cells’ and is not conscious, or autonomous. However that claim now contradicts the narrative transgenderism aims to push, the body and mind/soul are not at all connected. The new collective belief states that a person is conceived in utero with a sense of self — that is not inextricably linked to the physical self.
The hospital’s website states, “As the first pediatric center in the country dedicated to the surgical care of transgender patients, we take an interdisciplinary approach from the start to ensure exceptional patient care. Our skilled team includes specialists in plastic surgery, urology, endocrinology, nursing, gender management, and social work, who collaborate to provide a full suite of surgical options for transgender teens and young adults.”
The site continues, “The center currently offers vaginoplasty, metoidioplasty, phalloplasty, chest reconstruction, breast augmentation, facial harmonization and other gender affirmation surgeries to eligible patients. We follow the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) guidelines,” after harsh criticism from the online community, the hospital added, “All genital surgeries are only performed on patients age 18 and older.“
Currently, WPATH guidelines encourage children with gender dysphoria to begin taking hormones as early as 14 years of age. The guidelines also state that some surgeries should be performed as early as 15 years old. The organization claimed that it would be unethical to withhold early treatment. The group also advises girls as young as 8 years old to take puberty blockers.
The common talking point from the left claims that taking puberty blockers and engaging in hormone therapy is “completely reversible.” However, scientific evidence and research on youth hormone treatment tells us a dramatically different truth — that the damage done to the next generation at the hands of progressive “affirmative care” is detrimental forever.
Boston Children’s Hospital encourages numerous techniques that are potentially harmful to the health of children, in order to fulfill an adolescent’s delusional self-image. This is absolute child abuse. To remove a minor’s ability to ever bare children without informed consent, without a fully developed brain, and clearly while in a state of mental distress.
Medical providers are in favor of early treatment for adolescents with gender dysphoria because they claim that this group of children are at risk of committing suicide. Before any transition surgery, the widely accepted guidance sees to it that the child has extensive consultations to ensure the would-be patient is mentally sound. Anyone who threatens or plans to commit suicide if they do not have parts of their body surgically removed, is not mentally sound.
After the videos released by the hospital went viral among conservative commentators, the hospital reported receiving “a large volume of hostile internet activity, phone calls, and harassing emails including threats of violence towards our clinicians and staff,” via a statement posted to Twitter.
The criticism the hospital has received for mutilating underage children is fully warranted. The medical experiments being performed on children are unthinkable and destructive. While critics should always remain nonviolent, it is good to see the public finally speaking up with a level of outrage never before seen from the right.
The left mocked Crisis Pregnancy Centers for months while they were under attack. Clinics that exist purely to help women in need and provide a plethora of free services were burned to the ground and vandalized. No one had a problem with the actual violence that took place.
The DOJ has released a statement, that was later shared on Twitter, in which Attorney General Merrick Garland was quoted saying, “At the Justice Department, we view confronting hate crimes as both our legal and our moral obligation.” Ironically, I didn’t see this statement being made when radical pro-abortion groups graffitied the outside abortion clinics, threatening, “if abortions aren’t safe, neither are you.”
The right has finally begun to see how sickening this radical ideology is, and they have finally started taking a significant stand against it. Irreversible surgeries and damaging hormone “treatment” should not be performed on perfectly healthy children.
