Medical Doctors Stage Walkout in Fear of Unvaccinated Patients
The ever evolved Hippocratic Oath (an oath originally written in 5th century B.C. by the famed Hippocrates, detailing the medical & moral obligations of the physicians) is a fraction of what it originally intended for doctors to adhere to when it came to the realm of medicine and patient care. This is evidently seen by 75 medical doctors from a Florida hospital walking out in protest because they “had so many unvaccinated COVID-19 patients….” This is quite simply unacceptable and abhorrent for these healthcare “professionals” to do such a thing, especially for the reasons ascribed.
Imagine if we lived in a world where doctors stopped treating lung cancer patients who smoked due to them putting others at risk and harming the environment. Better yet, apply this same concept to the obesity epidemic that’s surely a bigger problem in America, linked to significantly more deaths than Covid. I have yet to see a staged walkout of doctors in protest over such things that have been affecting people worldwide for decades. However, it must be noted that obesity is typically 100% at the fault of the person suffering from its terrible consequences. As a matter of fact, as a comorbidity in conjunction with COVID-19, the likelihood of succumbing to the culmination of such things is significantly higher than normal. Yet, Liberals seem to have forgotten that obesity is indeed a threat to themselves and others, even though it is the very thing the Left promotes in their “body positivity” campaigns. You cannot tell me that this is not the apotheosis of pushing this narrative that obesity is “goals” as Lizzo so ridiculously states in her song “Rumors” featuring Cardi B.
Here’s another thought, are the unvaccinated the ONLY ones catching the worldwide COVID-19 virus all of a sudden? If that is indeed the case, I am curious to know why other doctors are not speaking to this fact, particularly those who do not let their politics influence their medical practices and advice or method of treatment. The overtly politicized nature of this virus lends credence to the efficacy of these vaccines is sketchy at best.
Either way, regardless of your opinions towards this virus, its effects, the comorbidities, the available vaccines, and their effectiveness and side effects, the walking out of healthcare workers is an affront to the once esteemed Hippocratic Oath, which needs to be reimplemented today for the sake of us all.
