There is a very disturbing clip that is going viral right now (warning: explicit audio content). In it, a Dave Chappelle fan and free speech advocate at the LGBT-focused LA “protest against hate” at Netflix headquarters is assaulted and surrounded by LGBT Leftists. These enraged individuals are triggered that Netflix dared to air a comedy special with jokes not specifically approved by them.
The man in the video has his sign destroyed and is surrounded by a group of feral, violent LGBT Leftists all because he dares to stand up against the cancel culture mob they have created. This is all very disturbing and dangerous to free speech in our society.
Of course, Chappelle is funny, and he has the right to say whatever he wants. He seems to be well aware of the fact that humor and stand-up comedy is the last line of defense against the all-consuming “wokeness” that threatens to completely end our freedom of speech in America.
It’s sad to me, as a gay man, to see a new generation of LGBT people so oversensitive and devoid of any kind of sense of humor as to react to something like Chappelle’s comedy special with rage and violence. It’s weird. These people are aggressive, hypersensitive, and deeply, deeply unhappy.
They will not be satisfied with Netflix only pulling the special down. They will push to institute their own LGBT ‘executives of wokeness’ in order to remain in power. These people won’t stop until they have control of the speech and content of every major institution in this country. This is why, like Chappelle and this brave counter-protester, we should never let up in our efforts to retain our freedom of speech in this country. Even if it does hurt the feelings of some triggered Leftists.
