TPUSA Frontlines reporter Jonathan Choe covered in-person the arrest of social media influencer Ryan Williams who was apprehended last week by British police at Heathrow Airport for making critical and humorous comments about Islam and the European immigration influx.

Williams is accused of terrorism for both ridiculing Muslims and opposing the influx of migrants into Europe, particularly the United Kingdom.

Upon apprehension by police, Williams’ computers and phones were taken and investigated for terroristic content. He believes the comments he’s made on social media about the Islamic religious figure Mohammed have largely prompted this investigation.

The police briefly detained Choe as well, and did not allow him to report at length in the airport about Williams.

A court date has yet to be decided for Williams. Though surprised by the weighty charge of terrorism he is being investigated for, and not hate speech as he expected, Williams is determined to “fight them to the end.”

In a provocative gesture, Williams appeared on a SkyNews program with two strips of bacon on his shoulder as he discussed Islam, which sparked controversy as the anchor of the show apologized for his comments and appearance after his segment.

In related news, comedy writer Graham Linehan was similarly arrested in September by British police at Heathrow for critical comments made about transgenderism and other topics.
