EXCLUSIVE: TPUSA Received the ENTIRE Ethnic Studies Curriculum for the Salinas Union High School District!
TPUSA’s School Board Watchlist team has obtained the 235-page document required for graduation in the Salinas Union High School District that forces students to take a course on highly politicized “Ethnic Studies”.
What is “ethnic studies” you might be wondering? Pages 60-102 focus on that very question—and will even tell you why it’s needed:
Unit 0 (so, not a unit?) opens with this word-salad:
“Si Se Puede! We’re the change we want to see. We can do this, systemic educational transformation for a more just community and world is possible. Education is our passport to the future.”
Did that mean anything to you? Extra credit if you were able to catch the run-on sentence in that opening statement, but we’ll give “Ethnic Studies” a pass since it’s obviously not teaching students anything useful about grammar.
In fact, the School Board Watchlist team discovered something much more chilling. Ethnic Studies is nothing more than racist indoctrination to brainwash students to hate white people.
On page 77, students read:
“Racist white people” are to blame. But “white” is an immutable characteristic, meaning that a person cannot change this aspect of themselves. Is beating and harassing someone based purely on their skin color an abhorrent crime against human dignity?
Obviously.
Is “Ethnic Studies” using something so clearly evil as a vehicle to smear white people?
Obviously.
Sexual abuse, beatings, harassment, and everything else mentioned in the quote is evil because the actions are evil—not because of the color of the perpetrator’s skin.
But this is all to lead to the main point of Ethnic Studies: only whites can be racist.
The argument is this:
White people have all the power. White people are prejudiced. Therefore, white people are racist.
If a person who belongs to a minority group is also prejudiced, they are still not racist—according to Ethnic Studies at the Salinas Union High School District. Why? Because the person from the minority group has no power. That is to say, they do not have “the legal system and prevailing white institutions” tilted in their favor.
This entire ideology is woven with built-in lies about society! How do students break free from such a web of nonsense? This is an entire make-believe world built upon real-life anger!
I’m so glad that the School Board Watchlist team is exposing this garbage. Thanks to the School Board Watchlist, Americans can get the word out that the Salinas Union High School District is creating racists in their community—and they will have their school board to blame!
Thanks to TPUSA’s School Board Watchlist, I see crystal clear what Salinas Union High School District is teaching its students. The Ethnic Studies class ironically argues for better education.
If better education led to the end of teaching this racist lie, then it looks like I actually do have something in common with the masterminds behind Ethnic Studies!
