On March 14, Lake Havasu City honored Charlie Kirk by adding his legacy to its Memorial Walkway located at the city’s London Bridge.

The memorial consists of a series of arranged bricks which form the word “FREEDOM,” and is located at the Havasu Memorial Walkway to local veterans, and faces the water of Lake Havasu.

According to the city’s website, the event consisted of “special dedications” including “additional engraved bricks in the ‘freedom’ section – in memoriam to Charlie Kirk – along with the new 2025 additions to our veterans’ sections, first responders, health care heroes, educators, pioneers, and all others.”

Gary Meyers, Havasu Freedom Foundation president, explained that the decision to establish a Charlie Kirk memorial at the walkway was popular among Lake Havasu City residents.

“This particular suggestion for Charlie Kirk was overwhelmingly approved by our local population and the outpouring of support and the inpouring of donated bricks verified that it was a pretty good idea,” he told KJZZ Phoenix.

Other cities throughout the US have installed Charlie Kirk memorials in different ways, such as the Charlie Kirk Memorial Highway in Lake County, Florida, and a similar roadway in Hood County, Texas.
