California to Release Sex Offenders EARLY From Prison
The California Supreme Court unanimously ruled this week that nonviolent, convicted sex offenders can apply to be released from prison early. This group of people includes those convicted of crimes like “child pornography, incest, indecent exposure, and pimping.“
Yeah. That sounds like a GREAT idea. Said no sane person ever.
Our culture has dramatically changed, believing that refusal to wear a mask or the decision to go to church warrants prison time, but allowing convicted sex offenders to roam the streets once more. This is entirely backward thinking that will inevitably put our society’s most vulnerable individuals–children–in harm’s way.
Now, more than 4,400 criminals are eligible for early release in California.
