Since she was nice enough to write an article about me, here are a few things you need to know about my friend and fellow TPUSA Contributor, Kendall Jones.

  1. Kendall made worldwide news in 2014 for big game hunting

Kendall became a worldwide news topic in 2014 when she was just 19 years old for her hunting adventures in Africa. She grew up hunting with her dad at a young age traveling all over the world hunting a number of species. The news media tried to cancel her for her passion and she received thousands of death threats and hate messages from all over the world.

You can hear her relentless story here.

  1. Kendall was a cheerleader at Texas Tech University

She cheered from the age of 3 up until college. She won numerous national & world titles for individual routines as well as team titles. When she made worldwide news, people tried to get her kicked off the cheerleading team at Texas Tech, but they did not succeed.

  1. Kendall’s mission is to get the younger generation, especially women, into the outdoors

Kendall’s love for the outdoors and hunting has inspired her to get more people involved in the outdoors. She strives to educate the general public on what conservation is and the reason behind why hunting is so important.  Whether it be hunting, fishing, camping or just simply spending time in God’s creation, she wants everyone to be able to experience the gifts God has given us.

  1. Kendall won SCI Youth Hunter of the year in 2015.

Safari Club International (SCI) is a US organization dedicated in fighting for the freedom to hunt. Each year they recognize two youth Hunter’s (1 female/1me)  between the ages 15-25 who is dedicated in being a role model for future Hunter’s.

  1. Kendall is a natural red head

She has always had blonde highlights from a young age, but her natural color is red. Lately, she’s been growing it out to go back to her natural.
