Introducing TPUSA LIVE And TPUSA’s Newest Contributor
What’s up, everybody! I’m Jon Root, Turning Point USA’s newest Contributor, your daily host of TPUSA LIVE (more about that below) as well as the host of a weekly sports show coming this September.
You’ll get to know fairly quickly, I love sports. Always have. Always will. I believe sports has the ability to bring people together unlike anything else. That’s why I decided to play sports throughout my life including at the NCAA DII level and eventually work in the sports media industry as a host/reporter.
Before I decided to join Turning Point USA, I spent five seasons with the San Jose Sharks as their In-Arena/Digital Host and have worked extensively with various professional sports teams, brands like EA Sports and networks such as NBC Sports Bay Area.
I’ve loved what I’ve done throughout my career. I’ve been blessed with an incredible amount of opportunities but like most industries, unfortunately, sharing your conservative beliefs is pretty much career suicide. I was always careful and calculated about what I shared and liked on social media. I knew in order to make my way to the next major step in my career, I was forced to stay in a specific lane. Not anymore!
Sports networks, teams, athletes and coaches have gone full “woke,” journalists share a one-sided, Leftist narrative and fans are tuning out in the millions. Go woke. Go broke.
Now, with Turning Point USA I have the ability to be unfiltered and unashamed giving you the conservative side of sports, politics and culture you won’t see anywhere else. My main hope is to create an outlet for conversations, stories and topics that allows sports to be a unifier again, educates our base and gives a fresh, unique perspective on our crazy, politicized world.
Alright alright… Enough about me. Let’s talk about the new home for real, unfiltered, conservative grassroots content… TPUSA LIVE!

TPUSA LIVE is your new home and daily source for the fresh, conservative perspective the movement has been asking for.
Here’s the nitty gritty… TPUSA LIVE launches on September 13th. You’ll be able to watch 3 hours of content – live, Monday through Friday, featuring some of the most prominent conservative personalities, including our entire contributor team covering culture and everything that is happening across the conservative movement. Each livestream includes brand new TPUSA daily and weekly shows (including my sports show) as well as live in-studio content where you’ll join me at TPUSA HQ in Phoenix, AZ.
