Dear AOC: Your Looks Don’t Matter, But Your Marxist Lies Do.

“Socialism for thee, not me” is a classic statement. My favorite example of this in action is how Fidel Castro, Cuba’s communist dictator and self-proclaimed “democratic humanitarian” who murdered political opponents, minorities, and resistors of his Marxist revolution, wore two rolexes.

AOC posed on the cover of Vogue Magazine in a $14,000 suit. This entire situation played right into her hands (and agenda). There is a lesson for us to learn here.

What happened:

  1. The magazine is revealed, AOC looks great. The leader of the radical Marxist “eat the rich” movement in America is posed in a $14,000 suit.
  2. Conservatives were quick to attack her for her suit with a claim of massive hypocrisy. Ideally, the accusation makes perfect sense: she’s a socialist, claims to be leading the working class revolution and she bashes capitalism every chance she gets. She isn’t exactly the kind of figure you’d expect on the cover of magazine only in existence because of capitalism and the ultra rich who can afford to wear designer clothes like the suit she’s wearing on the cover.
  3. But what came of this attack? She was able to quickly claim the victim card, once again calling conservatives sexist for attacking her on her looks and clothes. In a tweet, she stated that conservatives are “very mad (again) about my appearance. This time they’re mad that I look good in borrowed clothes (again). Listen, if -conservatives- want pointers on looking your best, I’m happy to share. Tip #1: Drink water and don’t be a racist.”

I am so sick of this. I do not care or pay attention AT ALL to what AOC wears. What I do look for in politicians is the ability to practice what you preach.

You can’t claim the existence of billionaires is immoral all while wearing the clothes a billionaire wears. Even if it’s just “borrowed clothes” for a photoshoot, you are proving your defender-of-the-working-class principles are conditional.

“I would have done anything to have Turning Point USA when I was your age, so it really is a true honor to be here today.”
