Day 2 of TPUSA’s biggest Student Action Summit to date has been a MASSIVE success! 

TPUSA Faith’s Advisory Pastor, Rob McCoy, opened the day by leading students in a Sunday morning praise and worship service, which FILLED the room with energy! Everyone was ready to support one another in the fight to defend American values while being grounded in their faith!

There were so many UNBELIEVABLY talented, wise, and insightful leaders who shared their vision for America’s future with us today. We dove headfirst into the themes of bravery, courage, and even what Western Civilization is founded upon! 

LET ME BREAK DOWN ALL OF MY FAVORITE MOMENTS FOR YOU!

JACK POSOBIEC

I was so impressed by Jack Posobiec, who spoke about the importance of preserving our traditions! “Tradition isn’t the worship of ashes,” Jack said. “Tradition is the preservation of FIRE!”

And there was SUCH A FIRE this morning! Jack rallied the THOUSANDS of student activists at this year’s Student Action Summit to love the truth! The Left doesn’t care about the truth—the Left only cares about getting what it wants!

Jack then went through an entire list of all the fake double standards and double-talk that the radical Left uses against us to make conservatives seem like the unreasonable side! 

But we need COURAGE in today’s American Culture War to stand up for what we know is true! Jack is such a great example of courage, as Jack stood up—face to face—against an ANTIFA mob! 

We ALL need to stand up to the radical Left and not be afraid of sharing our pro-American ideas. The conservative movement is tired of giving space to the radical Left that just keeps stripping away all the best traditions of America! We are INSPIRED to start standing up for freedom, free speech, and freedom of the press! 

SAVING THE WEST

After Jack’s incredible speech, we heard TPUSA Founder and CEO Charlie Kirk, Sohrab Ahmari, and Josh Hammer talk about SAVING THE WEST during their roundtable discussion. This was one of the most interesting conversations I’ve ever heard at a Turning Point USA event! 

Charlie and his guests explained the intersection of faith and reason, the Judeo-Christian values that America is built upon, and how these values help us defend our freedoms. If we stay together and uphold our values, we will have the courage to stand up to Big Tech, censorship, and use our political power on the side of FREEDOM!

But the day was only getting started! 

CONGRESSWOMAN LAUREN BOEBERT

Congresswoman Lauren Boebert walked out on stage and drove it home right away when she talked about BOLDNESS in the conservative movement! I LOVED when Lauren emphasized the importance of being a mom and a dad. We need strong conservative families to win the American Culture War!

“We can be tough on the outside but have a soft heart,” Lauren said. I love that! I’m glad we have Congresswoman Boebert to be a role model for young conservatives everywhere, and I hope they hear her message about BOLDNESS loud and clear.

And as a proud American who loves our 2nd Amendment rights, I was ECSTATIC when Lauren replayed the video that launched her into the conservative spotlight when she said, “HELL NO,” the Left will not take our guns! 

What an incredible speech—we were all so POWERED UP! 

And Day 2 of SAS 2021 was only halfway through!

DR. BEN CARSON

I could not wait to hear from Dr. Ben Carson, former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the Trump Administration. Dr. Carson is such a brilliant and accomplished man. 

My hopes were definitely fulfilled because he brought so much clarity to the fact that American-loving patriots can stand up in the face of Critical Race Theory! This is SUCH an important issue and the radical Left just doesn’t want us to believe the truth that we are STRONGER when we band together. Dr. Carson said that the Left does NOT want us to believe in each other or our cause. But we DO believe!

Dr. Carson mentioned that Critical Race Theory is being taught that the color of their skin is the most important thing in their life—WHAT A TERRIBLE, DIVISIVE LIE! 

He was so interesting, educational and inspiring. Dr. Carson explained the different frontal lobes between humans and animals. Human beings do NOT—and should not—distinguish themselves by race, type, and tribe. Animals do that. 

Dr. Carson reminded us that we are ONE nation under God and that we are the land of the FREE—but we can only be the land of the free if we are also the HOME OF THE BRAVE.

There’s NOTHING that radical Leftism can do to stop the heart and soul of America’s proud and patriotic next generation of leaders! 

DONALD TRUMP JR.

If there’s anyone who knows how to rally up a crowd, it’s a Trump — this time, Donald Trump Jr.! 

From blasting the failed communist policies of the radical Left—as anyone with eyes can see with the struggle of the Cuban people—to the increasingly predictable tactics of the fake news and mainstream media, there was NOTHING off-limits for Donald Trump Jr.! 

I especially loved it when Don Jr. blasted the Left’s policies that are bringing America’s increasing inflation! The Left NEEDS to be called out, and Don Jr. is such a great example for the conservative movement to be CONFIDENT in its convictions. WE HAVE THE RIGHT IDEAS! 

What a great experience to see Don Jr.! 

KAYLEIGH MCENANY

As the evening progressed, even more conservative stars were seen! EVERYONE loved hearing from former Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany! 

It was so incredible watching Kayleigh speak again, having just seen her at TPUSA’s Young Women’s Leadership Summit! Kayleigh is such a powerhouse for the conservative movement, and I hope more young conservative women continue looking up to her—because I sure do!

Kayleigh laid out a big long list of all the media bias against conservatives! The truth is SO distorted with the radical Left! But Kayleigh said, “Take heart.” YES! We should ALL take heart because “the tides are turning, and people are waking up,” Kayleigh said. I’m so glad to hear this!!

The radical Left is trying to take our voice, but Kayleigh encouraged us to “be strong, and let them know we have a voice!”

I loved hearing about Kayleigh’s White House adventures as she described in detail how she walked into the White House for the first time and past the Resolute Desk. Kayleigh also described the moment President Trump asked her to give her first Press Briefing!

Kayleigh directed us to her new book, For Such a Time as This: My Faith Journey Through the White House and Beyond, to read even more of her behind-the-scenes stories!

BUT THE BIGGEST SURPRISE CAME WHEN FLORIDA’S GOVERNOR RON DESANTIS TOOK THE STAGE!

THE CROWD WENT WILD! To the radical Left—take note! The rising conservative leaders at this year’s Student Action Summit know exactly who their American role models are, and it’s not WOKE Leftists who applaud flag burning, rioting, or looting!

Governor DeSantis came out swinging when he talked about illegal immigration! The crowd broke out in applause at the news that finally SOMEONE is taking charge and helping America defend her borders! 

Governor DeSantis vowed to uphold law and order! That was such an encouraging thing to hear. It makes no sense to just ignore laws that keep our communities safe! DeSantis even remarked that yesterday’s conservative party is NOT the party of today—the party of today is proactive! Today’s conservative party plays OFFENSE! 

That just tells me that TPUSA is exactly on the right track leading the way! We ALWAYS play offense at TPUSA—especially at SAS!

As Governor DeSantis said, “Hold the line! Never back down!” Everyone was inspired to take head-on the powers of Big Tech, corrupt government, and the lawless Left.
