Congresswoman AOC SLAMMED For Hypocritical Tweets Blaming Trump
Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted this about her grandmother’s living conditions:
While the tweet was sad at first glance, the REALITY is that Congresswoman AOC’s grandmother lives in those conditions. In contrast, Congresswoman AOC lives in luxury, drives a Tesla, shops at Whole Foods and makes a hefty amount of money on top of her congressional salary. She has built a name for herself within the socialist/leftist party, which comes with benefits beyond being in Congress.
Shouldn’t Congresswoman AOC be helping her grandma since she has the means to do so instead of tweeting and blaming it on former President Trump? She should not allow her grandma to rely on government aid if she has an overflow of funds to help her grandma herself in a more timely and efficient manner.
Recently, Matt Walsh has taken to Twitter promoting a GoFundMe that he set up for Congresswoman AOC’s grandma. #HelpAbuela is currently trending on Twitter, and other political commentators such as Ben Shapiro and Michael Knowles have since donated $499 (a Tesla payment) to the cause while tagging others to donate as well.
This whole scenario reveals extreme selfishness and doesn’t reflect badly on the United States or any former administration; it reflects poorly on Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for using her grandma as a virtual signaling tool.
