Clemson Staff “Reserved Tickets” To TPUSA Event So Students Couldn’t Attend

Remember when Tomi Lahren, Brandon Tatum, and I spoke at Clemson University?
Well, APPARENTLY, there was some “foul play” involved…
Here’s the thing, the event was a MAJOR success. Kids poured in from everywhere, and many more, unfortunately, were turned away due to COVID-19 capacity issues.
It has now been brought to my attention that when we opened the doors for people to RSVP to the event, some Clemson staff decided to reserve a BUNCH of tickets to suppress attendance and suppress kids being able to hear folks talk about supporting the police!
The worst part is these ‘Karens’ thought it was smart to post about it on social media.
Listen, I’ve made a career off of social media; this is one of those, “You ain’t slick moments.”

Whoever wrote that apparently works in the “financial aid” department of Clemson, which just baffles me that they would do something like this so that their students wouldn’t be able to get into the event.
Her job is LITERALLY to help students get financial aid, CRAZY.
In the comment section, some other administrators commented, “I just reserved 10. I JUST might show up to see what all the fuss is about!” See the picture below:

This administrator works in the department of “recruitment and inclusive excellence.” Welp, that’s IRONIC!
I guess she isn’t inclusive of ‘backing the blue’ or free thought since she allegedly suppressed the event!
According to TheCollegeFix.com, the posts have been “purged or protected,” which means they might be in some hot water for doing that.
Here’s my message to these two administrators:
Shame on you. Politics and political beliefs aside, shame on YOU.
These students pay an OUTRAGEOUS amount of money to attend this University, only to be shut out by the people they are keeping on payroll.
I don’t care how much you hate what I have to say; take it out on me. Voice your intolerant opinions to me, but don’t try to foil a STUDENT-led event! These students worked their freaking TAILS OFF to put the event on, and now some “offended” lady is trying to ruin it.
If you claim to be an “educator” who works in that field, EMPOWER kids to be free-thinkers. Don’t try to tear them down.
Be an educator, not a dictator.
I’ll leave y’all with what the Clemson Turning Point Chapter President Taylor Rogers said:
“Unfortunately, I think this is expected at universities now. When people claim universities are full of leftist indoctrination, this is a perfect example. The left faculty and staff pushing their leftist ideas upon the university and its students. I have been told by Clemson University’s administration that this situation is being handled. I am so grateful to go to Clemson, where they continuously stick up for free speech for both Left and Right winged students. A student affairs administrator said it best, “Our job is to teach students here how to learn, not what to learn.” I hope that Clemson administration takes action and shows their support for all their students – including conservative students!”
