Banned From Facebook For LGBTQ Criticism

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLRoCKfrSHU&t=1s

A few weeks back, Hollywood actress/singer Demi Lovato decided to “come out” as “nonbinary.” What that means in wokespeak is that apparently “nonbinary” people “exist as neither male nor female” and that sometimes they don’t know which one they are until they wake up in the morning.

Of course, this is clearly nonsense generated by the woke crowd with too much social media time on their hands on a break from their gender studies classes at Brown, and apparently to say so constitutes as “hate speech.”

The video above, where I treat this ridiculousness with all the snark and condescension it deserves, has gotten me banned from my Facebook page with over 300,000 followers (and where a portion of my income is derived) for a week for “hate speech.”

There is nothing mean or “hateful” about this video. If anything, I’m amused by the sheer absurdity of it all. But that’s not enough for the woke warriors of the internet, who rallied to get me banned from Facebook. If you have any doubt about the mental instability of these folks, just check out the comments on the YouTube video. They are wacky!

I’m not that pressed about this. I’ll be back on Facebook doing videos again, and I suppose I’ll have to stick to “approved” topics to talk about, but the whole thing gives me pause. Who made Facebook and other social media platforms the arbiters about what can and cannot be said? What does that mean for the future of anyone who dares to criticize the LGBTQ, which gets nuttier and nuttier with each passing year?

I don’t know, but I don’t think I’m gonna stick around to find out. The movement for gay and lesbian rights is, I think, one of the most important ones to happen in the past 30 years or so, and I’m proud to be creating the space for more sane gays and lesbians who identify as conservative. But the “LGBTQIA++ movement” has descended into full-blown Leftist chaos, leaving many gays and lesbians out in the cold. Those on the Left are TERRIFIED to criticize ANY of the insanity we see day in and day out, and those of us on the Right are cast out for wrongthink.

I, for one, am done with LGBTQ. The movement has fallen to Leftism, tribalism, and groupthink. Perhaps a movement for sane America and freedom-loving conservative gays and lesbians is already forming as an alternative.

That’s a group I think I can be a part of. In real life, not on Facebook.

“Turning Point USA’s commitment to the fight for freedom on campus is more important now than ever.”

- Senator Marco Rubio, Florida
