America Crossed The Rubicon In Tampa At SAS 2021
I’m sure you’ve heard folks saying that “we’re never going back” or “we’re going to lose America if we don’t fight,” and that’s easy to write off, but it is completely the truth.
If you’ve been to the Student Action Summit, you may or may not know that sometimes you’ll see me just watching the conference in the back of the room.
I’ve always found this to be a FANTASTIC way to ‘feel the temperature’ of America’s future: YOU.
Well, at the opening session, I had the highest PLEASURE to witness the beginning of SAS 2021.
The productions team did an amazing job highlighting the tyranny of Leftist leaders, and I felt somewhat angered by it.
They played quotes of “we’re going to take your guns,” “we’re going to mandate masks,” basically the Leftist agenda.
BUT they also played an intro video with portraits zooming in on the Founding Fathers of our country.
Towards the end of the video, the portraits became contributors for Turning Point USA.
My interpretation of the purpose for this video wasn’t to indoctrinate, instigate or just throw pro-America stuff on a screen; it was to show YOU that the Left looks at our Founding Fathers and wants to cancel them.
It’s come SO FULL CIRCLE that the ONLY people who advocate for the Founding Fathers’ policies are the CONSERVATIVES!!!
All this to say, it is an honor.
An honor for ALL OF US to be on that screen, to fight for what we believe, and most of all, it’s an honor to be on the FOREFRONT of the battle to bring America BACK.
At that moment, watching that intro video, I thought to myself, “there is no going back … if we don’t fight, we WILL lose our America.”
But when I looked at those faces of the Leftist leaders, I didn’t see America.
I didn’t see America in the mandates, I don’t see it in Socialism, and I definitely don’t see it when they threaten to take away guns…
Seeing the contrast of those two videos made me realize that what makes America worth fighting for are the people that think it’s worth saving.
America is worth saving, YOU are worth fighting for, and it’s time we start acting like it.
