‘Woman Is Not A Feeling’ Feminist Organizations Park Anti-Trans Van In NYC

Two feminist organizations drove a billboard van around New York City last week to protest the placement of men in women’s prisons and to send a clear message to New Yorkers: “woman is not a feeling.”
Keep Prisons Single Sex and TERF Collective parked the “TERF Truck” in multiple locations in New York City last week, including on Wall Street, and outside of the New York Times headquarters. TERF is a name given to feminists who don’t subscribe to transgender ideology, the acronym stands for “trans-exclusionary radical feminist.”
The vans read multiple slogans such as “woman is not a feeling” and “gender identity is a lie” but one series of images displayed on the virtual billboard explained the horrible reality facing women’s prisons, locker rooms, bathrooms, sports teams, and female-only spaces.
The images read the following:
“Keep Prisons Single Sex XX”
“Women’s prisons are actually mixed sex.”
“Male inmates are housed in women’s prisons based on self-declared ‘gender-identity.'”
“Many states and cities (including NYC) have laws or policies to house inmates in women’s prisons based solely on self-declared ‘gender identity.'”
“Female inmates have been impregnated by male inmates self-identifying as ‘women.'”
“Female inmates have been raped by male inmates self-identifying as ‘women.'”
The billboards stated this all while being parked directly in front of the main entrance to the New York Times, which is notoriously more progressive but has recently come under fire for its coverage of transgender topics. “This is newsworthy, is it not?”
The two organizations are very vocal about the dangers of unisex, “trans-inclusive” intimate spaces, citing numerous incidents of girls being sexually abused, assaulted, or harmed by men invading bathrooms and changing rooms.
Transgender ideology has permeated modern society in a way few other movements ever have. Within the span of ten years, Americans went from widely acknowledging same-sex marriage to allowing toddlers to tip men who dance provocatively while dressed as women. Just last year, a man convicted of child molestation was sentenced to serve time in a female juvenile prison — because right before the trial, he conveniently began identifying as female.
“The incoherent, reality-denying lie that one can be born in the wrong body / that sex doesn’t matter will lose its grip when the media begins to accurately report on gender ideology and on those challenging it in defense of women, children and vulnerable adults.”

The policies supporting this radical redefinition of reality are not only harmful to the women and girls whose spaces and achievements have been taken away, but also to the children and adults who have been lied to, and promised peace and happiness within this doctrine but only find pain. The consequences of a medical transition are often felt for the rest of an individual’s life. Puberty blockers, hormones, and permanent, body-altering surgeries can leave a person forever sterilized.
The more women begin to speak up against this dangerous ideology, the better. That is why Turning Point USA is consistently fighting against practices that harm individuals, and celebrating true femininity. Our annual Young Women’s Leadership Summit embraces the beauty and blessing of womanhood and teaches young girls how to navigate the societal rejection of traditional gender norms.
