How Do Black People Create Their Own Misery?
We take a gun, aim it at our own feet, and then squeeze the trigger. Now we have holes in our feet and are unable to walk correctly. As we try to walk, we whine and cry about how much our feet hurt and how it’s not fair we can’t walk, run, jump, or stomp the ground as ordinary people do, all the while negating the fact that we were the ones who directly took aim and shot ourselves in the feet. We have thus created our misery, and it’s no one’s fault BUT our own for why we are in the predicaments we find ourselves in.
