Turning Point USA is thrilled to welcome its latest contributor, Topher, a Mississippi-based rapper and former Air Force member who has made a significant impact in the music industry with his powerful lyrics and undeniable talent.

 Known for his hit single “The Patriot,” which topped the Billboard charts, Topher believes that true success is rooted in talent and purpose rather than hype.

Topher’s journey to success is marked by resilience and triumph over adversity, qualities that make him an inspiring figure for young conservatives. With over four million followers on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X, Topher’s influence continues to grow as he shares content related to politics, music, and religion. As a contributor for TPUSA, Topher will be seen delivering messages of faith, family, and fighting for what’s right across all Turning Point USA channels and platforms.

Reflecting on his decision to join the Air Force, Topher shared that he was inspired to join “in order to establish a foundation for my family and to acquire the discipline I was lacking from my upbringing.”

“It also provided me with the necessary medical and dental coverage I was lacking at that point in my life,” he added.

Among the many songs he has written, “The Patriot” holds a special place in Topher’s heart. 

“It has become a classic hit for conservative and patriotic music around the world. It is my only song that faced cancel culture and targeted censorship yet came out on top despite the heavy resistance. It is also my only song to reach number one on the Billboard music charts,” Topher said.

Topher also reflected on how becoming a father has shaped his perspective on life. 

“As a father, I started to pay closer attention to the political climate of this country because I wanted my children to be afforded the incredible life that I had a chance to experience, even if it was just for a second,” he explained. “I came to realize the weight of my leadership once I knew I had very impressionable eyes watching me attentively at all times.”

Discussing the challenges of parenting in 2024, Topher highlighted the difficulty of controlling what children learn from institutions and entertainment, pointing out that, “Many harmful messages can be hidden in what appears to be innocent content yet is designed to indoctrinate your children. This requires a much more hands-on approach to education, which is extremely difficult in a high-demand society.”

Topher’s perspective on America’s current state is both hopeful and critical. He expressed his belief that America is at a pivotal moment in history where for the first time, the conservative message is reaching more people and having a higher success rate of wins. 

“Americans need more liberty,” he expressed. “We have slowly but surely surrendered our liberties for certain temporary reliefs that ultimately have done more damage than good. We need to wean ourselves from government dependency and learn to trust in the source of all that is good, which is God. His kingdom operates in abundance versus the world’s system of scarcity. The very idea that the prosperity of one individual takes away from another is a lie that is perpetrated to stoke the flames of jealousy, envy, and division. In reality, we all win when one wins.”

“We don’t see the great examples of fatherhood or traditional family that helped shape my generation’s and the previous generation’s ideas of what success looks like,” Topher added.
