The Left is Banning the Words Mother and Father?!
A certain San Fran Speaker, expensive Ice Cream lover, and all-around leftist hypocrite . . .who’s name rhymes with “fancy” proposed banning gender terms like “father, mother, son and daughter” in the House of Representatives. Here’s the ultimate irony-in her Twitter bio, she calls herself a Mother and Grandmother. She used one of the words she’s proposing to be eliminated.
Of course, hypocrisy is an issue, but the ultimate issue is that government-sanctioned limitations on speech should be seen as a threat to all Americans. Left, right, and the center should see this as a Constitutional violation of our right to free speech!
By being told what to say and what not to say, we are sliding on a slippery slope into socialism. This is, by its very definition, government control. The left is using the concepts of tolerance and inclusion to restrict our speech. Right now, it is about “father or mother.” Next, it will be about criticism of the government. Be careful. Be afraid. Fight back.
