The Golden Globes Have Been Cancelled (Literally)
Well well well. Supply meets demand.
According to multiple reports, NBC will not air the Golden Globes in 2022. They’ve been cancelled. For now.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) has decided that the lack of diversity and the ethical changes they deem essential to let the show go on takes too much time and work to be handled in under a year.
This is just another company virtual-signaling by pushing diversity just like United Airlines.
Everyone knows that the Golden Globes were canceled because they knew the viewership would tank given the how-low-can-ya-go award show viewership over the past couple of years. The whole “diversity” and “ethical” narrative is a ruse. Plain and simple, they wanted to get in front of the inevitable colossal embarrassment.
To be honest, this may be the smartest thing NBC has ever done.
Last month, the Oscars ratings were the lowest in history by over 50%.
Real America is fed up with Hollywood and their constant anti-American rhetoric as well as their overall inaccurate interpretations of America that they spew to the masses.
OK Hollywood, one day we will live in a country where Oprah Winfrey, LeBron James and Kamala Harris are no longer viewing themselves as oppressed victims of an inherently racist nation.
Oh, wait. That is the nonsense narrative we hear at these awards shows ALL THE TIME.
Will the next Hollywood award show be cancelled too? I wouldn’t be shocked.
