Spicy Spotlight: Did Kimye Ever Stand A Chance?
I think I speak for almost everyone when I say I just wanted those two kids to work it out, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have a prickling sense of concern when Kanye became a Christian and Kim didn’t. God literally tells us not to enter a relationship with a non-Christian in 2 Corinthians 6:14. “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?”
I LOVE Kim, and I hoped she was maybe going to come around. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. I think she wanted to file for divorce way earlier in 2020 but with Kanye’s bi-polar episode knew that would look terrible for her public image. The saddest part of this whole thing is their four kids losing their family together intact. I foresee a nasty battle going forward, though, between Kim and Kanye and differences on how they want to raise North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. Ugh, why did this have to happen before the first week of the year is even over?!
By the way, you KNOW this is all going to play out on the Kardashian’s new Hulu show.
