Social Media “Fact” Checks Are Fiction
The left and their social media soldiers like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram have WAGED a war against conservative thought via platform censorship. In their latest form of suppression, the liberally biased sites use their platforms to “fact check” conservative content.
Fact-checking gives low-level, liberally minded employees the right to review post content. If they don’t like the subject matter of what they read, they can suspend, remove, and add disclaimers to posts, essentially labeling them fake news. These liberal outlets are trying to weaken the power of conservative messages under the guise of facts when in actuality, they are actively working to spread more falsehoods.
Whether you lean right, left, or straight up the center, you should ask yourself, is it the job of social media to decide what’s true or false? Is this is a slippery slope into content control? As the Wall Street Journal so eloquently said, “The marketplace of ideas is a better engine for sorting truth from falsehood than self-declared gatekeepers who have earned no social authority.”
