SMASH Episode 3 Recap: Words Have Meaning!
When it comes to words, language, and speech, “sex” is not the only word the left is trying to manipulate for their personal agenda. A few other examples of dictation they are trying to redefine are:
- Latina & Latino (now “Latinx”)
- Woman & Women (now “Womxn”)
- Illegal Alien (now “Undocumented Worker” / “Undocumented Immigrant” / “Migrant”)
- Pedophile (“Lover of Children”)
These are just a few of the misconceived ideas the left actually considers as a beneficial thing when it comes to controlling and changing language and speech. This is what happens when leftists takes control of significant and meaningful aspects of our society. The utter absurdity to change the meaning of words for social justice purposes truly perplexes those with a modicum of intellect, especially when their notion of “truth” flies in the face of common sense. Words have meaning, and watering them down makes them less effective and gives room for the wrong interpretations of said words or creates more malleable to make words susceptible to false interpretations. This is the America they wish to re-create, a world where the bedrock of language can be uprooted at will to cater to the arbitrary needs of the woke mob.
I know we on the right have our hands full when it comes to fighting to get our country back, but this is a worthwhile endeavor as well. We cannot lose this “language war” to the left and let them disregard proper protocols for speech. These next few years will be interesting to see whether we, on the right side of history, win this war against these language-changing radicals or lose and witness the left redefine every word to support their varying agendas.
