Prominent Leftists Lose Their Minds as Elon Musk Takes over Twitter
It always amazes me that those who advocate for the free exchange of ideas on social media are typically the ones demonized by the left as “terrorists”, “supporters of white supremacy”, and my personal favorite —”purveyors of misinformation.”
However, this is not true at all. Conservatives (as well as many centrists) just want to participate in the realm of free speech – a privilege seemingly only meant for the left.
The left has dominated platforms like Twitter for quite some time, hiding behind the heavy hand of censorship, wielding it like a cudgel to beat anyone who dare disagree with their strategically opaque and often immoral views on key aspects of life, biology, and politics.
Elon Musk promises the return of free and fair speech on the aforementioned platform. The result? The left has plunged itself into absolute madness and despair.
Shaun King took to Twitter before deleting his account to showcase his discontent for Elon’s 44 billion dollar purchase of the social media platform, once again evoking the typical age-old tactic of the left – racism.
Other people like Brian Stelter referred to the purchase as a party invite featuring “total freedom”, and wonders who would go to such a party. Such notions are the norm for people who have enjoyed unbridled freedom while the rest of society & humanity are shut down for daring to speak out against the powers that be. It all boils down to leftist privilege – a privilege that seems to be coming to an end, hence the utter meltdown of these political hacks.
Only time will tell if Elon Musk will make good on his promises to restore free speech for everyone. But as it stands right now, just witnessing the left react the way they have in the past 48 hours is pretty rewarding to me.
