Professor: Sex Work Is The Best Thing Young People Can Do Early In Their Careers
An adjunct professor at the University of Ottawa and attorney Naomi Sayers recently took to social media to encourage more young people to engage in “sex work” as a way to boost their early careers. She retweeted the following tweet:
Sayers went on to explain why she endorses sex work for young people in Canada, “because your early career prospects will be unstable, unpredictable, low pay, likely contract work and very much exploitative.”
As if sex work won’t be “unstable, unpredictable, low pay… [and] exploitative?”
She has since defended her stance several times over on her Twitter page, calling for legalization of all sex work in Canada and claiming a Campus Reform story written about her words is misleading.
She has also claimed, “capitalism, along with prisons, needed to be abolished, advocating for free education, and a living wage.”
The story from Campus Reform was later updated after Sayers contacted the publication and claimed she had no relation to the University of Ottawa, although a position as an adjunct professor at the school is listed on her LinkedIn profile:

What do you think of Sayers’ claims? Should she be a professor? Share your thoughts in the comments!
