President Trump and Governor Abbott To Visit The Border
Is it just me, or is this border crisis one of the worst problems in America right now? Certainly, way worse than the media and President Biden Administration would have us believe.
Between January and May 2021, US Border Patrol apprehended over 900,000 illegal immigrants. That is more than two times the TOTAL amount from all of 2020. And you can trust me on this: I live down here in Texas, and I know many women who own ranches within two hours of the border who refuse to leave their house without a firearm now because the illegal immigrants are getting more aggressive on private property.
Vice President Kamala Harris was put in charge of the border crisis over 70 days ago, and she still has not even visited the border. And when she’s asked about it, she laughs. Listen, the White House can dance around this all they want, but the bottom line is, there is a huge suffering thanks to their terrible leadership. THEY failed to do their job. And THEY failed to serve and protect the American people.
If you’re concerned about the crisis at the southern border (which you should be), I have TWO pieces of good news that I want to share with you to hopefully calm your nerves. We have two leaders stepping up to do what President Biden’s Administration WILL NOT:
First, Texas Governor Greg Abbott spoke out and said Texas will not sit idly by: Texas will build its own border wall. In fact, Governor Abbott announced Wednesday that state officials are making a huge down payment on the border wall to combat President Biden’s immigration crisis. The Governor also said illegal immigrants will be arrested and confined for trespassing while also announcing the creation of a task force focused on ending illegal immigration and the arrival of illegal contraband.
Second, and this is where it gets interesting – after this border wall news was announced, an even bigger announcement came: Governor Abbott invited former President Donald Trump to Texas to join him for a tour of the southern border, and President Trump said, YES.
President Trump and Governor Abbott will head to the border to evaluate the crisis at the end of June. And for now, I can only imagine how the Left and President Biden’s Administration will react to this. Maybe Vice President Kamala Harris will finally make her own trip down now. Tell me what you think in the comments.
