Pizza Hut Under Fire For Promoting Teen Drag Queen Book To Kids!
It seems like Pizza Hut’s ‘Bookit’ program is yet ANOTHER victim of the Left!
According to Fox News, parents are outraged at Pizza Hut for promoting a book about a teenage drag queen as a part of their iconic ‘Book It!’ program that encourages reading among school-aged kids:
Pizza Hut is facing fierce condemnation from conservatives and other social media critics for promoting a book about “drag kids” for its “Book It!” reading incentive program. “Pizza Hut has gone full woke, now we must make them full broke,” conservative author Brigitte Gabriel tweeted. The “Book It!” website features the book “Big Wig,” which is described as a “wonderful read-aloud” book that “celebrates the universal childhood experience of dressing up and the confidence that comes with putting on a costume.”
I remember doing the Bookit program as a kid too, though I don’t remember ever being suggested a book that has ANYTHING to do with the LGBT movement or sexuality.
It’s deeply sad and indicative of the decline that Leftists want for America that such indoctrination is included in a program that has a pure, positive incentive: getting kids to read.
It’s so interesting that the “we are not indoctrinating your kids” crowd has put so much time, energy, resources and effort into LGBT-oriented books, shows, and culture that targets children.
