Pabst Blue Ribbon Creates A Case Holding 1,776 Beers

Headed to the lake this weekend with your friends to celebrate America’s Independence? Need a couple brews to stay hydrated?
Pabst Blue Ribbon has you covered!
In honor of America’s birthday on July 4th, PBR celebrates by creating a 1,776 pack of cold brewskis representing the year America claimed its Independence in 1776!
“We figured the best way to honor the year America claimed its independence was to make a box that held that many beers: 1,776,” said Nick Reely, VP of Marketing for Pabst Blue Ribbon. “It’s the least we could do. I mean beyond making our beer can red, white, and blue. Actually, 1,776 is the most we could do because 1,777 seemed excessive.”
Unfortunately, if you’re going to the local spirit store or general gas station, you won’t be finding this pack on the shelves.
They are only making 4 limited-edition boxes of the 1776 pack that are being distributed to cooler brand Igloo, skateboarding podcast The Nine Club, comedian Ali Macofsky and Midwest band Hot Mulligan. These 4 brands are going to help PBR create content throughout the summer into Labor Day!
Cheers! Happy 4th of July!
