New Poll Shows Majority of American Support Photo ID Requirement
We are all old enough to remember when celebrities, Leftist leaders, sports teams and airlines were boycotting places like Georgia and Texas for their “racist” election reform measures that included requiring an ID. Never mind that it’s perfectly acceptable to require identification to drive a car, buy alcohol and cigarettes, obtain government benefits or travel by aircraft.
Yes, ID is perfectly acceptable for those serious activities. Why are OTHER instances such as voting racist?
So, why are Leftists now changing their tune? Polling data.
A recent Monmouth University poll found that 80% of Americans support requiring a photo ID. This includes 84% of non-white participants.
These numbers are staggering and why we are seeing a massive shift. People who call names and make serious allegations of racism on the topic of photo ID are clearly very out of touch with the American public.
