When discussing politics with someone else, consistency is one of the most important things to keep in mind.
Consistency allows us to not only guarantee that we are keeping an argument accurate but allows us to easily identify and point out flaws in opposing arguments. Overall, if an argument is not consistent, it is not an argument.
Those on the right seldomly pick and choose when to vocalize their beliefs. They maintain the same level of advocacy at all moments, despite what else is happening in the world. The left simply can not relate. Let’s look at the pronoun crowd, for example. I’m sure you know the type. These are the people who display their pronouns as if they’re their lifeline. The second you do not abide by their constructed rules – whether on purpose or not – you’re in trouble.
But, interestingly enough, the pronoun crowd isn’t always so devoted to their cause. Once something real starts happening in the world – when lives are at stake, and there is the possibility of monumental societal change – the pronoun crowd gets silent. It makes sense, to be honest.
Oftentimes, the stupendous importance of other cultural topics will illuminate the lunacy of the pronoun crowd. Think about it: if I were to be giving a presentation on the current 9.2 million slaves in Africa, it would be outrageous for a viewer to devote attention to validate their gender identity. Why? Affirming the gender identity of less than 1% of those out there is not the priority.
If something isn’t a priority to leftists, why do they focus on it so heavily?
