It’s painfully easy to be a victim as a black man in America today.
All you really have to do is turn on the TV. Whether it’s CNN, MSNBC, or ABC, black Americans are constantly bombarded with messaging from leftist-controlled media that we are victims. The left thrives by telling black people that America is evil. That America’s history is evil. That we can’t succeed. Their solution, however, is that only the government can save us.
And we’ve taken the bait. It’s much easier to subscribe to the victim narrative than take responsibility for our own actions. The left knows this and preys on us to claim a reality that is not the truth. This is how they have succeeded and will continue to do if we allow our emotions to be manipulated.
I woke up to the lies of the left when I realized they use victimhood to control us. America has the highest number of black billionaires in the world. There is a reason why America is the most prominent destination for African immigrants. America has the highest opportunity for black people in the world. But, this is not what we hear from leftist media. Even though black Americans are constantly relayed that we are never good enough and are victims to our surroundings, I encourage you to take control of your life and mind. You have been blessed with the power to create your life, so it is your responsibility to do so.
