Students at New Hampshire’s Keene State College now have the opportunity to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in “Anti-Racist Studies,” seeking “to identify and repair the harm done by racism in their own thinking,” according to the school’s course catalog.
In an interview with Campus Reform, Keene State College spokesman Chad Cassin said, “‘Without question, issues surrounding race, diversity and equity have impacted and divided our nation.’ As a result, those in higher education have an obligation ‘to support and empower our students to learn about, collaborate on and consider difficult topics as a path toward tolerance and inclusiveness.'”
Some of the courses offered through the degree program include:
- Gender and Power in Early North America (IHHIST 372)
- Latina Feminist Theories (WGS 303)
- Restoration Ecology (ENST 353)
- Critical Ethnic Studies (IIWGS 300)
- Transnational Feminist Theories (WGS 301)
As the buzzword “anti-racism” continues to gain traction in the wokest communities on earth, it’s hardly surprising that an Anti-Racist Studies degree has come to the surface, and my bet would be that campuses across the nation adopt this program for their students as well. What started with Ethnic Studies has now evolved into Anti-Racist Studies–make that Marxism 101–and is training the next generation of Americans to adopt the radical ideals of socialism and societal breakdown under the guise of racial equality.
