Wyoming Sorority Accepts Transgender Student, Female Members Drop

Kappa Kappa Gamma (KKG) at the University of Wyoming (UW) has become the first sorority in the country to accept a transgender member. Artemis Langford, a biological man, has infiltrated the previously female-only organization, creating concerns for the girls still enrolled in the sorority.
“I know a lot of the girls in the sorority are upset about the whole deal, there a girl in my chapter—she’s pretty upset. A lot of girls are talking about leaving.”
“Turning Point USA at our school has been pretty vocal about it. It’s about a really grotesque thing . . . I don’t blame them for not feeling comfortable.”
Gabe Saint — TPUSA Chapter President at UW
Langford, a Wyoming native, is extremely pleased with the organization’s decision to allow him to join, and expressed to the student newspaper at UW that he feels the sorority is “trailblazing” a path forward for transgender individuals. Months ago, Grant Sikes, a biological male and student at the University of Alabama sparked national controversy when he rushed female-only sororities on campus. Once denied entry to all sororities on campus, Sikes took to social media to complain about the recruitment process, and implied that he was let go because of underlying prejudice.
It is worth noting that many sororities will not allow married or pregnant women to join their organization, but now nine sororities around the country have altered bylaws to allow anyone who “identifies” as female to join. According to Campus Reform, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Omicron Pi, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Gamma, Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Pi Beta Pi, and Sigma Kappa all allow men who identify as women to rush their organizations — with no physical requirements whatsoever.
“Kappa Kappa Gamma is a single-gender organization comprised of women and individuals who identify as women whose governing documents do not discriminate in membership selection except by requiring good scholarship and ethical character. All chapters are expected to adhere to these documents.”

Historically female spaces have been overtaken by men who feel the need to be accepted and even applauded for their public fetish display. This poses a threat to women’s safety in a number of instances. “Gender inclusive” policies make women vulnerable to harassment or worse.
Women’s safety has been forfeited to ensure that men’s delusions are coddled, that their feelings are protected. In most every case, whether it was in Virginia schools, the locker rooms at Penn State, or in gender-neutral changing rooms, women are told be quiet, to be accepting, and if it makes them uncomfortable, they are “transphobic.” The same is apparently true at Kappa Kappa Gamma, where female members have been coached on how to better accept Langford, a male, as their “sorority sister.”
“Members are given tips on how to be a good ally, which includes always referring to people by their chosen names and pronouns, and not making or perpetuating ‘assumptions about someone’s … gender identity.’ Members are also told to use words that encompass ‘all genders,’ with examples such as ‘people of all genders’ instead of ‘women and men,’ and ‘children’ instead of ‘boys and girls.'”
The Post Millennial
Sororities traditionally have large houses where most members live, either on or close to their college campus. Allowing males to enter into sororities puts the female members in the uncomfortable position of having to live with a male, after joining what should be an entirely female organization. This opens the door for predatory males to merely “identify” as women to gain access to the homes. It is unfathomable that we have allowed objective reality and truth to go out the window in society.
