Sydney Sweeney is the latest celebrity to fall victim to what our society calls “cancel culture.” In my opinion, it’s wrong and dangerous to call it merely cancel culture, because in reality, what’s happening in our culture today is cultural totalitarianism.
Sweeney, one of the most popular young actresses in Hollywood who is best known for her role in HBO’s Euphoria, recently posted pictures of her mother’s 60th birthday party, where people wore “Make Sixty Great Again” hats and one man wore a blue line flag shirt in support of law enforcement.
