World Economic Forum Leaders SLAMMED for Climate Hypocrisy

I’ll start off by saying that after being at the World Economic Forum Summit in Davos, I’m increasingly becoming more optimistic. I say that not because the rhetoric from WEF leaders is any less abrasive or weird, but because I’ve spent a lot of time talking to attendees and gauging how much they actually believe in this nonsense. What I’ve gathered is this: not many people here actually believe the garbage that they’re being told.

One of the big talking points about the WEF Summit is the hypocrisy of these elites traveling to Davos on their private jets, all while lecturing the public on the consequences of such activities on the environment. A study by the global climate group Greenpeace International determined that over 500 flights in and out of Davos were used to transport people to the summit, with a large percentage of these flights being less than 62 miles.

The irony was not lost on the attendees; it’s hypocritical on its face and it’s obviously a problem. However, when we pressed a few of the attendees on the street about the issue, many of them were honest with us and said things like “yeah we don’t buy that either…”

Of course, there were several people here that are full-on climate doomsdayers. I asked two women how they would suggest holding China and India, two fo the biggest polluters on planet Earth, accountable for the overly aggressive climate goals set by the WEF. The answer that both women gave was along the lines of “we need to set harsher penalties, but the United States is horrible too” (I’ll remind you that the Paris Climate Agreement, which will supposedly help fight climate change, let countries set THEIR OWN emission reduction standards. I’ve often said that getting to net zero carbon emissions involves having to go to literal war with China and India. However, that’s not often talked about at these sorts of powwows.).

Despite the alarmists in attendance, the people who gave me hope and optimism were those who would openly tell us they don’t really vibe with anything on the agenda at the WEF Summit. I responded with the obvious question: “why are you here then?” Most of them would say it was because of funding. It’s reassuring to know a lot of these people don’t agree with the rhetoric, but their response to my questions presents the all-to-common problem of virtual signaling. However, I believe that problem is manageable.

My main takeaways are as follow:

  • The elites are still trying to take over the world and they actually believe the stuff they talk about.
  •   Many of the people in attendance, at least anecdotally, don’t actually believe any of this stuff.
  • The problem facing us is getting all of the people who pander to the elites to stop.

The elites are always going to be nuts and have wacko ideas. But there will always be people in society who advocate for radical and dangerous change, whether their intentions are pure or evil. It’s up to us to make sure the world is informed enough to not just blindly follow these beliefs, and I think we’re making progress. It seems our progress is evidenced, in part, by all of the big wigs that pulled out of the conference this year; George Soros, Bill Gates, even Klaus Schwab himself among the usuals who, I hope, are getting the message that we the people don’t buy their nonsense.

For these reasons, I’m hopeful and optimistic. But there’s also still lots of work that needs to be done.
