Seven women at the University of Wyoming have filed a lawsuit against their sorority after they admitted a man identifying as a woman.

Current and former Kappa Kappa Gamma members who remain anonymous cited several instances of inappropriate behavior from their male sorority “sister” in the lawsuit. They allege the transgender woman, Artemis Langford, is still interested in women and has made them feel uncomfortable with his disturbing actions and remarks.

Last year, when the sorority initially admitted Langford, the TPUSA chapter members at the university were outspoken in their criticism of the decision. Many felt this was an inevitable result of men being welcomed into exclusively female spaces. This was not an unfounded fear either, as there have been several instances of sexual assault, violence, and harassment being perpetrated by men parading as women.

The lawsuit explains that Langford, referred to in the suit using the pseudonym “Terry Smith,” is 21 years old, is 6 feet, 2 inches tall, and weighs 260 pounds — “No other member of Kappa Kappa Gamma has comparable size or strength.”

In the lawsuit, the women site numerous instances in which Langford had “silently” watched them, asked sexually explicit questions regarding female anatomy, and made many members feel threatened or uncomfortable. The suit also mentions Langford’s Tinder dating profile, which he uses to meet women, and that he has “not undergone treatments to create a more feminine appearance.”

Prior to Lanford’s admittance into the sorority, the chapter changed the way votes were conducted between members. Previously, all votes were anonymous, however, just before Langford’s induction vote, each member was instructed to use a personalized name and log in each time a vote was taken.

“‘If members had not met Mr. Smith [Langford], then a ‘no’ vote was evidence that the member was a bigot,’ the complaint says, adding that bigotry is grounds for expulsion.”

“The complaint also says that Langford had a 1.9 cumulative grade point average in the autumn of 2022, which is below the required 2.7 GPA for sorority applicants.”

“A woman who questioned Langford’s induction and disputed whether Langford is a woman was given literature to ‘educate’ herself, the lawsuit says.”

There is also no legal requirement to include transgender women in female sororities, as explained in the lawsuit, and expanded upon by Cowboy State Daily. “Congress in 1974 created an exception to Title IX’s embargo on sex discrimination to allow sororities and fraternities to discriminate to preserve single-sex organizations, the lawsuit notes.”

These women were sexually harassed by a male in their “exclusively female” organization and emotionally manipulated by their sorority leadership, who, like many other progressive activists, will claim that any female who is made uncomfortable by a man’s presence should learn to abandon her “bigotry.” Many women have experienced this irrational form of coercion and abuse because transgender ideology has permeated every part of society. Even elementary students are given training materials on “inclusion” if they feel threatened by a male in the women’s restroom.
