In the wake of the awful shooting by a white supremacist looking to kill black Americans at a grocery store in Buffalo, we will once again be treated to an entire media cycle that blames the usual suspects for the maniac’s motives. We’ll be treated to a few weeks of hemming and hawing about the “far-Right,” and multiple different boogeymen our dreadfully boring and predictable media trots out in the wake of tragedies like this.
But, wait…why didn’t we see this after the black nationalist that shot multiple people on a NYC subway just a few months back? Or the black man that killed six people and injured dozens more when he drove in the middle of a Christmas parade in Waukesha, WI? That’s simple: those crimes didn’t fit the narrative that the media likes to push.
The reason why we don’t hear about terrorist attacks when they’re committed by black people is the same reason we never seem to hear about the motives of even the white attackers who are radicalized by far-Left sources, such as the one who shot and injured Congressman Steve Scalise at a Congressional baseball game back in 2017 – who was found to have declared his love for Rachel Maddow in some of his writing.
The truth is that the media and the Left that run our country care very little for dead white people OR dead black people, they care only about narratives that help them claim political power. And a white supremacist who kills black Americans is something they can run with in a way that they cannot when it’s the other way around.
So we’ll hear a lot about this shooting this week. We’ll hear about how this is just an example of the “radicalized” conservative movement. We’ll hear about how it’s time to act NOW on “gun control.” But the next time there’s a terrorist attack of this repugnant nature that’s committed by a black person, we’ll hear just what we always hear: crickets.
