Recently, I was in Washington DC for the “Our Bodies. Our Sports.” rally held on the 50th anniversary of Title IX.

The Rally included many prominent figures in the movement to save women’s sports such as: University of Kentucky swimmer, Riley Gaines, RedBull skateboarder, Taylor Silverman, former NCAA champion, Marshi Smith – who have all been guests of the Breakaway podcast – along with former representative, Tulsi Gabbard & more!

The most interesting part, other than seeing people from different backgrounds, beliefs and sports come together under one roof to protect women’s rights, was the protestors that showed up.

You could hear the drums and whistles from the opposition at least a block away. This, of course, only made the day more exciting and eventful for me — I absolutely love watching the transgender ideology supporters twist and bend reality in attempt to justify the unjustifiable. It’s entertainingly chaotic, but my hope is that by allowing them to work through the “logic” behind their argument, they will begin to realize it cannot hold up under even minor scrutiny.

This time was different though.

Even after multiple attempts, I could not get one person from the opposing group to even speak with me, let alone answer questions or have a meaningful debate.

There was one exchange in particular with a man (probably a man, who knows these days though) was a perfect example of how the left refuses to explain why they believe biological men in women’s sports is right, fair and progressive.

It’s the same argument over and over again…

  • Why should I have a conversation with you? You’re a bigot.
  • You want trans people eliminated from society.
  • You are committing violence if you don’t believe in transgender people.
  • Gender is a social construct.

The left just wants to shout from the rooftops that they side with trans people at any cost — even if that means eliminating women in the process. This is something conservatives won’t and shouldn’t compromise on. Women have come too far, and sacrificed too much to allow loud, radical leftists to upend what they’ve accomplished in this country.

Leftists can’t defend their beliefs because they have eliminated objective truth from their lives. Despite this, they’ll receive support from all the right places, elites, social media giants, and their message will infiltrate and infect every crevice of society. TikTok will blow up their trans content even though it has no backing in science or reality. These people truly believe this is the social justice movement of our time — a minority group that “needs representation and acceptance” no matter what.

No one is saying trans athletes can’t compete across the board. What we’re saying is men have a clear biological advantage over women and have no business competing in women’s sports. It’s that simple.
