Today, the White House said that oil companies have a patriotic duty to lower their prices.
….ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?
My mouth dropped wide open for at least 5 minutes when I heard this today.
Let me get this straight: This administration decided to close the Keystone XL pipeline, raise taxes on oil refiners, cut domestic production, increase regulation on oil production, and increase our dependence on foreign oil—yet the blame is on the oil companies to lower their prices?
This administration is literally blaming THEIR failures on the oil companies now. First it was Vladimir Putin’s fault and now it’s the “greedy oil companies.”
America needs to be energy independent, like we were under the last administration. But I don’t think we’re going to get that.
