The term “ban assault weapons” means ban them all. Period.
There is no such thing as an “assault weapon” or, even better, “assault-style weapon.” These are made-up terms by the left in order to get the ball rolling into an even broader conversation on all firearms that leads to governmental control of the people.
You can prove this for yourself: Ask a leftist what he or she means by the term “assault weapon,” and watch them shake uncontrollably.
Even if the left did pass a ban on “assault weapons,” in just ten years they would change that definition once the general population has acclimated to the new normal of their previous ban.
The left wants total gun confiscation, not control. Once accomplished, they can impose their will on the American people with little resistance.
