White Supremacy and Transgenderism Taught to Kindergarteners at Hartford Public Schools
West Hartford Public Schools in West Hartford, CT has been forcing students to undergo “social-emotional learning through an equity lens,” as reported by Turning Point USA’s School Board Watchlist.
The document by the same name teaches that students should be taught “the mechanisms of White supremacy that systematically oppress people of color.”
“Social, Emotional, and Academic Development Through an Equity Lens” also claims that there has been 400 years of oppression imposed on students of color, which Hartford is adopting into its curriculum, stating that, “Working to reverse 400 years of systemic oppression will require generational change.”
In some of the most outrageous practices at Hartford, kindergarteners are being forced to learn about transgenderism, and parents cannot opt their children out of the curriculum. This is quite possibly the most egregious power grab at the expense of children in America that I’ve ever seen.
National Report first reported in November of 2021 that students are exposed to “When Aidan Became a Brother” which, according to a synopsis on Google Books, describes the plot this way:
“When Aidan was born, everyone thought he was a girl. But once he came out as a trans boy, Aidan and his parents fixed the parts of his life that didn’t fit anymore.”
This is horrifying.
West Hartford PSD is abusing children with a curriculum that is undoubtedly going to confuse and damage students’ development and sense of identity. Children are being lied to, plain and simple. Parents are being stripped of their rights to protect children, and a pocket of Connecticut’s state government—Wester Hartford PSD—is on a warpath.
