Yesterday, I spoke on Prime News to talk about the insanity surrounding Pixar’s latest movie, Lightyear.

Pixar’s release of the Toy Story spinoff was met with several political critiques, but the most notable was the casting decision to have Chris Evans voice the role of Buzz Lightyear.

It’s no secret that Tim Allen, the original voice of Buzz Lightyear in the first four movies of the franchise, is a conservative. Allen has long been known as one of the most conservative actors in all of Hollywood.

But instead of calling on Allen to reprise his iconic role in Lightyear, Disney decided to cast Chris Evans to voice the character.

Evans is one of the most liberal actors in Hollywood. He has a long history of condemning conservatism on his Twitter and in numerous interviews. The stark contrast between Allen and Evans is obvious, and with there being no plot-related reason for the role change, the decision to replace the voice of Buzz Lightyear was purely political.

Disney’s excuse for the Chris Evans casting is that they wanted a more serious voice to play Buzz Lightyear.

……Lightyear is a cartoon for children.

The reasoning behind Disney not selecting Tim Allen for the role is bogus, and many Americans can see this clear as day.
