VP Kamala Harris Melts Down When Challenged on COVID Response
I’m actually impressed with Vice President Kamala Harris on one thing… her ability to dodge questions. When she does answer questions, she turns one sentence into a full paragraph. I’m sure she was great at writing college essays! Recently, VP Kamala Harris sat down with NBC News Craig Melvin to discuss COVID-19 and the Biden Administration’s response to this.
In the interview, VP Harris recommends people to “just Google” where to find a test in the event that they need one. The main problem is how hard it is to get a COVID test. From appointments that are a week out at Walgreens and CVS to rapid tests flying off the shelves, many Americans are left confused about where all the tests are at. Earlier this week President Biden announced that a purchase of over 500 million COVID tests has been made and testing will be available for everyone. So we will see how that goes.
Now that it’s 2022, everyone from the left and the right is fed up with the lack of response to COVID. By the numbers, 2021 was worse than 2022. It’s clear that the response our government has had in regards to this pandemic is not working, and it’s time for a different game plan. When pressured on this, VP Harris runs in circles and elaborates on not giving up on people going out and getting vaccinated. She doesn’t realize, and even the reporter elaborates on, that those who are still not vaccinated are not going out to get vaccinated. There will not be a realm where the entire United States is vaccinated against COVID-19. With that being said, we need to come up with a different response at some point. What would I do? Open the country back up, end all mandates, and get us back to how life was in 2019.
