Vanderbilt Medical Center Deletes Website After Reports Reveal Horrific Reason for Opening Transgender Care Clinic
Matt Walsh, journalist and Daily Wire host, investigated Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s transgender clinic, and revealed a series of disturbing motives behind the clinic’s conception in 2018.
A doctor for the hospital touted how opening up a transgender focused clinic could be a “big money maker” for the hospital, claiming there are entire clinics that meet operating costs after just one genital reconstruction (dubbed “Frankenstein-like surgeries” by those such as myself and Matt Walsh) surgery, and perform a plethora of other services. Dr. Shayne Taylor indicates that the hospital has a significant financial incentive to butcher confused, often mentally ill, people.
“[Because of] the Affordable Care Act, insurance carriers are mandated to cover medical expenses for trans-folks . . . some of our VUMC financial folks . . . a couple of years ago put down some costs of how much money we think each patient would bring in — and this is only including top surgery, this isn’t including any bottom surgery, and its a lot of money, these surgeries make a lot of money . . . a patient just on routine hormone treatment who I’m only seeing a few times a year can bring in sever thousand dollars . . . $20,000 for a vaginoplasty . . . this has to be a gross underestimate . . . $20,000 for a phalloplasty, there’s been different things that I have read that say it could be up to $100,000.”

Vanderbilt then hosted another speaker, Dr. Ellen Clayton, who warned that there would be “consequences” for hospital staff that have moral or religious objections to the clinic’s barbaric practices. Dr. Clayton implied that if staff were unwilling to perform specific surgeries or prescribe certain treatments, they would be replaced by people with less of a conscience.

Walsh continued in his Twitter report, writing, “In case the objectors hadn’t gotten the memo, Vanderbilt unveiled a program called ‘Trans Buddies.’ The ‘buddies’ are trans activists from the community who attend appointments with trans patients, monitoring the doctors to guard against ‘unsafe’ behavior such as misgendering.”
The hospital released multiple videos explaining that they had no moral qualms with prescribing puberty blockers (chemical castration drugs) to minors as young as 13 years old, or performing irreversible surgeries on adolescents as young as 15.
The hospital also claims to abide by WPATH Guidelines, which have only grown increasingly radical over time, their newest guidelines not only removing the necessity for parental consent when a minor is prescribed medications, but also removes all age limits for extremely invasive, irreversible, consequential and brutal surgeries. WPATH admits in their guidelines that individuals who underwent genital reconstruction surgeries (hysterectomy, phalloplasty, vaginoplasty, etc.) should seek out “lifelong” urological care, because so many have to live with painful, non-functional body parts.
Hospitals like Vanderbilt, Boston Children’s, D.C. Children’s, and nearly every other medical center that offers any range of transgender treatments follow the guidelines created by WPATH. They have no moral objections to any of this for one simple reason that was explained by Dr. Shayne Taylor, it is not for “inclusivity,” “equality,” or “equity,” — it is just extremely profitable.
The “medical professionals” pushing this on children are empty shells, void of feeling, guilt, dignity, and reason. Their one true purpose is self-serving, they live to turn a profit, and they abandon their hippocratic oath, by causing harm to children — the extent of which still cannot possibly be known or quantified.
Or do they feel some form of guilt? Do they somehow know that what they are doing is undeniably wrong? Once the actions and internal statement from hospital staff became public, the hospital immediately removed every video, every web page recommending transgender care. Every trace of the practice was wiped from the internet as if it never happened, because they can perform these heinous surgeries on children, but you cannot notice.
Transgender ideology, for a number of reasons, has invaded our society, but more specifically, American children’s minds. Transgenderism is a social contagion, it is a result of indoctrination from culture, doctors, teachers, even parents at times. We have been asleep at the wheel for too long, unaware of the horrors going on around us for years, and it is our job to ensure that these people are held accountable for their actions.
