A rock on the University of Wisconsin campus has been classified as “racist,” and those who deemed it as such want it removed.
The Wisconsin Black Student Union presented their case to the university to destroy the boulder after claiming it has a racist history.
Their presentation states: “Black students on campus have come together to envision a more welcoming campus experience,” They called the boulder “a symbol of the injustices students of color face on campus daily,” and “this is an opportunity to prioritize students of color and engage with these complex conversations.”
