Turning Point USA’s School Board Watchlist might have very well outdone itself with this report, completely EXPOSING the unhinged mentality of Linda Sexton—a school board official in the Norman Public Schools system.
Sexton is a radical leftist who thinks that children who walk around their classroom hallways might actually be murderers. According to the School Board Watchlist, Sexton was found saying:
“It’s just not OK for kids to commit murder by coming to school without a mask.” – Linda Sexton, Norman Public Schools
You know what I think is “not OK”? Irrational and inflammatory statements such as Sexton’s accusation against her own students.
I wonder if there is any room for dialogue with someone like Sexton, who is so entirely lost to her own leftist fever dreams. Imagine if Sexton’s next logical steps were enforced, now that she views her “unmasked students” as potential “murderers.”
Should these students be arrested? Should they be tried for murder?
Should they be bullied into obedience?
Should parents and students shun maskless children?
They’re murderers, after all—according to Sexton. I shudder to think what working alongside Sexton is like.
It turns out that parents from Norman Public Schools took notice of Sexton’s outrageous claims and fought back. The community condemned Sexton’s characterization of children, and Sexton snapped out of her own leftism to issue this apology:
“My emotions got the best of me in that moment and I went too far in regards to people’s decisions not to wear a mask. I apologize for my choice of words and I regret deeply that I placed blame on students and families for their personal choices.” – Linda Sexton, Norman Public Schools
Fair is fair, Sexton. Leftism is a heck of a drug.
