For some of you, it may be weird to be talking about turkeys outside of Thanksgiving, but here we are.
It was a normal day at the dental office in Fair Oaks, California until a Turkey came smashing through the window.
Now, that is not the way to enter the dentist’s office without an appointment.
Donna McDonald, one of the managers on staff, thought the bird had been hit by a car because it came in with so much force. It was found in the empty patient waiting area and started scratching and clawing up the walls. Shortly after, Animal Control was called to remove the bird.
Apparently, they had a bit of a struggle trying to get the bird captured but eventually were able to get it under control and remove it from the dental office.
So why would the bird do this? An animal expert suggested the answer may be that it say its own reflection in the window and then attacked. Since it’s turkey mating season, it’s no shocker that the birds are a bit more aggressive this time of the year.
I think it’s safe to say this turkey really didn’t want a teeth cleaning today.
