TPUSA’s The Believers’ Summit: A Call to Unity and Biblical Truth

Last week, Turning Point Faith was excited to hold The Believers’ Summit in West Palm Beach, Florida, from July 26 to 28. The event called on believers to rise in unity and embrace biblical truth centered around the theme “Here I Am,” which echoes the biblical principle of readiness and obedience, encouraging attendees to be willing and ready to serve.
The three-day summit featured a dynamic lineup of speakers, including Seth Gruber, Allie Beth Stuckey, Jonathan Isaac, Mack Brock, and many more. Among the notable speakers was TPUSA faith contributor Pastor John Amanchukwu, who warned:
“We have false prophets, false leaders who are telling us that God is pleased with America… But hear me today, America is in trouble!”
Douglas Wilson, Minister of Christ Church, also spoke, highlighting the dangers of secularism in American society. Wilson explained that in secularism, “men are the measure of all things, and men are, therefore, the god of the current system. The morale of all the laws of every society will be laws that reflect the character of the god of that system. Unfortunately, men are corrupted, and they change all the time. This is why their laws are corrupted.”
Author and podcast host Allie Beth Stuckey emphasized that Christians are called to love, not empathy. She explained that empathy has “no power to determine right versus wrong” and that it can inhibit people from seeing the difference between the two.
“Empathy is actually, despite what progressives tell you, a very poor guide for our lives. It cannot shape our politics because it is a sorry determinate of policy,” Stuckey explained. “Christians actually are not called to empathy. We are called to love. And the love to which we are called is actually independent of how we feel. It is compelled by the love of Christ which does not wax or wane depending on the situation, the circumstance, or our emotions.”
Addressing the crowd of attendees Charlie Kirk, Founder of Turning Point USA, explained the mission of TPUSA Faith to combat wokeism within the American church:
“We believe that wokeism is destroying the American church from within,” Kirk explained.
Kirk went on to highlight his disappointment in the number of church leaders who sacrificed their fight for liberty during the COVID-19 pandemic. He explained that it was during this time that he decided to launch TPUSA Faith.
“We launched TPUSA Faith because we know that if the American church were to remain cowardly and to remain afraid of the government and afraid of totalitarianism, there is no way we will ever be able to win back this country,” Kirk stated.
Over 3,300 attendees from across the country gathered at the summit, standing up against wokeism in the American church and reaffirming their commitment to unity and biblical truth. TPUSA Faith remains firm in its commitment to not just defending the Christian faith, but putting it into action and ultimately turning our nation towards God.
