Turning Point USA launched an incredible resource for parents and students to finally fight back against Leftist indoctrination in their local school communities with the School Board Watchlist for anyone who hasn’t yet heard.
The School Board Watchlist is exposing the absolute worst offenders radicalizing our children instead of teaching them basic life skills like reading and math in our public schools. Their partisanship is so obvious that even when freedom-loving governors like Texas’ Greg Abbott defend the rights of all Americans to live as they please, communist sleeper cells like the Houston Independent School District doubles-down on their demands for unfettered power. The Houston ISD is even going so far as to violate state law before letting parents and students make their own decisions about their health by forcing everyone to wear a mask. This mandate disregards vaccination status, and more shockingly, rejects the laws of their own governor.
That’s the incredible irony of this whole story being exposed by the School Board Watchlist. Houston ISD already has laws dictating mask wearing, but since it’s not what the school board would have passed, the school board is simply violating that law and replacing it with one of their own.
Is this even legal?
The Houston ISD doesn’t care and is willing to determine the legality of their actions only by fighting it out in court. At least this way, they can retain their stranglehold on power against the law-abiding citizens of Houston who just want to move on with their lives. What a way to leave your mark as a “civil servant.” I shudder to imagine the board members of the Houston ISD with even more power than they have now. What other laws would they simply ignore because those laws prevent the dictatorial Leftist takeover?
Time to fight back, folks. The Houston ISD is proof that the Left has no boundaries in their never-ending quest for dictatorial control, even when our nation’s kids become the casualties.
